Samantha LeDuc is a children’s Illustrator originally from Newmarket, England , now residing in Southern California with her husband and their pup whiskey, who has no concept of personal space.

Inspired by classic children’s literature, Samantha creates narrative illustrations filled with warm atmospheres, and quiet moments of magic. Working traditionally with ink, and watercolour, she loves capturing the wonder of childhood through expressive characters and luminous light.

With a background in English literature, storytelling sits at the heart of her work — whether painting adventurous pirates, curious woodland creatures, or children discovering worlds of their own making beneath blanket forts and moonlit skies.

When she isn’t painting, Samantha can usually be found reading too much, walking in the mountains where she lives with Whiskey and spending her time with her husband as empty nesters.
